Masturbation is the safest, most healthy and useful method to release sexual excitement, especially when you are unmarried or do not have a partner.

One wrong belief is that masturbation somehow depletes energy and has bad consequences. Medical science has proved beyond doubt that masturbation is not harmful to the body.

Another misconception is, “I am addicted to masturbation” or “I am doing it excessively.” or “I can’t stop the habit”. When a person is without a partner, depending upon privacy and levels of sexual excitement, that person masturbates. The other activities like studies, occupation, hobby, socializing are going on too. Excess masturbation is like saying one is doing excess sex. Nobody objects to excess sex, but excess masturbation somehow appears to be bad.

Let us not stigmatize masturbation. Let us be thankful that masturbation has same health benefits as sex, hence it is a handy too.
